2025 Philippines Recap – Outreach in 4 Cities in 5 Days

In November 2025, the Groundwork Foundation returned to the Philippines to continue our commitment to grassroots jiu-jitsu development and youth empowerment. Through training, equipment donations, and meaningful time spent with local academies and communities, this outreach highlighted the power of partnership, consistency, and showing up where support is needed most.

Groundwork Foundation visits Door of Faith Orphanage (Orfanatorio Puerta de Fe) in Camino a San José de la Zorra

Our visit to Door of Faith Orphanage was one of the most meaningful moments of our Groundwork Foundation journey so far. From the second we stepped onto the property, we were surrounded by incredible kids, dedicated staff, and a sense of hope that fills every corner of the facility. What began as a simple plan to share jiujitsu and life lessons quickly became something deeper—a chance to connect, to listen, and to witness the resilience of children who have already lived through more than most adults. This is a story about impact, compassion, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after you leave.
